		<description>I agree, Britt, that the first group of names represent some incredible thinkers and advocates for relevant, 21st Century, technology-infused learning.  But, as much as I recognize the newness of the ed. tech. field, I was thinking more of the earliest thinkers/doers.</description>

		<description>Tough list to compile, as educational technology continues to evolve with many movers and shakers still around moving and shaking.  I would add Alan November, Will Richardson, George Siemens, Stephen Downes and David Warlick to the list.  And one would wonder how to classify the likes of Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Jimbo Wales, Tim O’Reilly or Tim Berners-Lee, who have certainly been enablers.</description>
