When I initially commented I clicked the -Notify me when new feedback are added- checkbox and now every time a remark is added I get 4 emails with the identical comment. Is there any manner you can take away me from that service? Thanks!

That's fine, Jon, but there's the still the issue of your visiting my website and announcing on Twitter that it made you #sicktomystomach" which was entirely inappropriate. I await your apology.

NOTE: I deleted a series of comments here. They were entirely irrelevant to the post and they were nobody's finest moments (including me).

So, yes, Tom, let's restart a conversation about participatory scholarship...

Afternoon,
I wonder if we might restart this conversation to focus on participatory scholarship and the curating of an article on DIYU?
Respectfully,
(another) Tom

Yes, George, I think there's value in that. A museum curator would reach out for coveted artifacts, right? I think I'll go comment on those posts and see if they're willing to contribute or to be included. Thanks for the idea.

Would it also be valuable to curate existing reviews/discussions of the book that are posted at various places into this? For instance, D'Arcy Norman has a post (http://www.darcynorman.net/2010/05/19/diy-u-chapter-1-history/) as does Michael Rees (http://mrees.wordpress.com/2010/04/14/a-future-scenario-for-higher-education-diy-u/) and Stephen Downes (http://www.downes.ca/cgi-bin/page.cgi?author=Anya%20Kamenetz). Or, would this be content aggregation rather than curation?
